Local SEO & Google Business Profile

Make your Business Profile complete, accurate and active so you appear in Google Maps and the local pack for the searches you can actually serve.

The problem

Your Business Profile is often your first impression, and the least maintained

For “near me” and town-name searches, Google shows a map and three businesses before any website. Those three are chosen largely from Business Profile information: categories, services, location, reviews and activity.

Most Profiles we see were filled in once, at verification. The category is generic, the services list is empty, holiday hours are wrong and the last review reply was years ago. Each of those gaps gives Google less reason to show you and gives customers less reason to call.

What’s included

The scope, item by item

  1. 01

    Category and services review

The most specific primary category, accurate secondary categories, and a services list written in your customers’ words.

  2. 02

    Profile completeness

Hours including special hours for Hawaii state holidays, service area, attributes, description and real photos of your work.

  3. 03

    Review request routine

A direct review link, short request messages your team can send after every job, and a guide for replying to every review.

  4. 04

    Name, address and phone consistency

Your details checked and corrected across the directories that matter for your trade, so Google sees one business.

  5. 05

    Posts and updates

Business Profile posts, offers and photo updates on a schedule that keeps the Profile visibly current.

  6. 06

    Profile-to-website alignment

The Profile links to the right page, and that page confirms the same services, area and contact details.

How it works

The engagement, step by step

  1. 1

    Access and audit

You add us as a manager on your Profile. We record its current state and compare it with the businesses that appear for your main searches.

  2. 2

    Fix and complete

Categories, services, hours, area, description and photos updated, with every change written down so you can see what moved.

  3. 3

    Start the review routine

We set up the review link and messages with your team and agree who asks, when, and who replies.

  4. 4

    Monitor and report

Monthly checks for edits Google or the public suggest, plus calls, direction requests and website clicks from the Profile.

Questions

Local SEO: common questions

Can you get us into the top three in Google Maps?

We can’t promise a position; nobody honestly can. Distance to the searcher is outside anyone’s control. We fix what Google does look at and report how often you appear and how many people act.

We don’t have a storefront. Can we still show up?

Yes. Google lets service-area businesses hide their address and list the areas they serve instead. You still need a real base of operations; virtual offices and mailbox addresses are not allowed.

Do you need to own our Business Profile?

No, and we shouldn’t. You stay the primary owner and add us as a manager, so you can remove our access at any time.

Will you write reviews or reply as if you were us?

We never write reviews. We can draft replies for you to approve, but reviews themselves must come from real customers.

We have locations on two islands. One Profile or two?

Each real, staffed location that serves customers can have its own Profile. A second island you serve from one base is usually handled as a service area instead.
